About the Job: Assistant Warehouse Manager / Forklift Operator – Rotterdam, New York.
GreenSheen Paint — an Inc. 5000 company and national leader in paint recycling — is seeking a dependable, hardworking Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Rotterdam, NY. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting daily warehouse operations as part of our expanding nationwide footprint.
About the Position:
This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on forklift operation, material handling, order fulfillment, and general warehouse support. You’ll work closely with warehouse leadership and teammates to ensure safe, efficient, and organized daily operations.
This position directly supports GreenSheen’s mission of keeping paint out of landfills and producing high-quality, eco-friendly recycled latex paint.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Load, unload, move, and stack pallets and materials.
- Assist with receiving and shipping inbound and outbound products.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for distribution.
- Perform basic inventory checks and assist with inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse and operational tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred but not required).
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Basic computer skills a plus.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to work extended hours or overtime when needed.
