About the Job
GreenSheen Paint is the industry leader in paint recycling. We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Forklift Driver to join our warehouse operations in Rotterdam, NY. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting daily warehouse operations as part of our expanding nationwide footprint.
This is a hands-on warehouse role focused on forklift operation, material handling, order fulfillment, and general warehouse support. You'll work closely with warehouse leadership and teammates to ensure safe, efficient, and organized daily operations.
This position directly supports GreenSheen's mission of keeping paint out of landfills and producing high-quality, eco-friendly recycled latex paint.
What You'll Do:
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, stack, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Shipping & Receiving: Assist with inbound deliveries of recycled paint containers and outbound freight shipments, verifying counts and inspecting for damage.
- Order Staging & Logistics: Stage pallets and prep bulk orders for freight transit according to packing lists and operational schedules.
- Inventory & Facility Upkeep: Conduct basic inventory counts, support stock rotation, and maintain organized work zones in adherence to strict safety standards.
- Team Support: Collaborate with warehouse leads and personnel to handle general material handling and warehouse tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- Forklift Experience: At least 1 year of real experience operating sit-down forklifts (gas or electric). Certification is a plus, but we can recertify safe drivers on-site.
- Comfort with Pallet Jacks: Experience using basic pallet jacks.
- Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs when needed and work on your feet in a warehouse setting.
- Good Work Ethic: Reliable, shows up on time every day, works well with the team, and pays attention to safety so nobody gets hurt.
- Valid Driver's License: Preferred.
