Job Description:
- Sort and separate paint based on quality and color.
- Open and consolidate paint containers for processing. Discard packaging materials appropriately.
- Assist during collection events – collecting, sorting and packaging paint material/ containers at event site(s).
- Assist with workspace and facility maintenance/cleaning.
- Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments.
Job Requirements:
- Must be dependable and consistent.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job Repetitive movements throughout the course of any given workday/week.
- Must be able to identify different colors for recycle processing.
- Must be able to operate manual material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and wheeled carts safely.
- Occasionally, must be willing to work during non-business hours at facility or off-site locations for collection events.
- Must be able to work in a team setting and follow instructions from direct Supervisor.
- Commitment to safety.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work from facility in Rotterdam, NY.
- Ability to operate pallet jack for loading and unloading of pallets in excess of 800 lbs.
- May be required to lift 50 lbs +.
- Forklift certified is a plus.
- Previous work experience in warehouse setting is a plus.
- Previous work experience driving 26-foot box truck is a plus.
