THE POSITION:
This full-time driver role operates out of our Schenectady, New York location, covering local and regional routes throughout upstate New York. You'll operate company vehicles, handle scheduled pickups and deliveries, and serve as a professional representative of GreenSheen Paint at every stop. Strong customer service is a core expectation of this role — not an afterthought.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate 26' straight trucks safely on established local and regional routes.
- Execute scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout the greater Schenectady area and upstate New York.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service at each location.
- Load and unload materials using pallet jacks or forklifts as needed.
- Adhere to all route schedules, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and basic route documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience operating 26' straight trucks preferred.
- CDL a plus, but not required.
- Clean driving record required.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and forklifts, or willingness to be trained.
- Highly reliable with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and solid communication skills.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $75,000 – $85,000+ per year, depending on experience.
- $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments: $2,000 at 60 days, $3,000 at 120 days.
